Frequently Asked Questions

Is therapy for me?

If you have concerns in your life that you would like to talk about with someone, then therapy could be for you. No matter how big or small those concerns are, you deserve to have support navigating them.

What are your specialties? Do you work with children?

We encourage you to check out our About page to learn more about our specialties. In addition to our specific area of focus, we also offer DBT Group sessions. In general, we see clients aged 20 and older, and our DBT group is 20+.

Some specific areas of focus include:

What are your hours?

Mondays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Do you offer virtual and in-person sessions?

Currently, sessions are being held virtually only using a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.

How often will I have sessions?

Many clients find it most effective to meet with their therapist once a week, especially at the beginning, but you and your therapist will be able to determine a frequency that works with your schedule while still helping you reach your treatment goals.

Do you take insurance?

We are not in-network with any insurance plans. We are able to provide you with a “superbill” (essentially, a receipt with a mental health diagnosis attached) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential partial reimbursement if your plan provides out of network benefits. You can find more information on how to determine your out-of-network benefits here.

Do you accept FSA/HSA cards?

Yes, we accept FSA and HSA cards, as well as all major credit cards. Payment details are stored on a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform.

How much do sessions cost?

Payment is due at the time of session. Fees are:

  • Individual psychotherapy: $200/session

  • DBT Group: $65/weekly session
